Known SIMs Registry & Auto-Detection
The Known SIMs Registry provides an inventory of all SIM cards that have been inserted into the modem.
Managing Known SIMs#
In SIM & Profiles > Known SIMs:
- Assign human-friendly nicknames (e.g. "T-Mobile Business Unlimited 5G", "Verizon Rural Backup").
- View card metadata: ICCID, IMSI, Serving Operator, and Last Active Timestamp.
- Set default fallback profiles for unrecognized guest SIMs.
ICCID & IMSI Detection#
When a card is inserted, QManager queries:

AT+QCCID # Reads 20-digit SIM serial number
AT+CIMI # Reads International Mobile Subscriber IdentityIf a new SIM is detected, a setup prompt appears allowing you to create a new profile with one click.
