Network Ping & Traceroute#

In Tools > Diagnostics:

  • Continuous Ping: Measure latency, jitter, and standard deviation against customizable target hosts (e.g. 1.1.1.1, 8.8.8.8).
  • Traceroute: Map out every network hop between your modem and target destination to identify carrier packet loss.
  • DNS Lookup: Verify resolution time and returned IP addresses.

Sysfs Radio Node Inspector#

On the RM520N-GL, QManager can inspect raw kernel sysfs radio nodes:

  • /sys/class/net/rmnet_data0/ statistics.
  • Hardware temperature sensors (MDM core, PA thermal sensors).
  • Transmit and receive byte counters with error drop rates.

System Log Viewer & Search#

View unified system logs (logread on OpenWRT, journalctl on RM520N) with instant keyword filtering to diagnose connection drops and watchdog events.
